I started michaelladdphotography.com because I wanted a place to share my photography and, more importantly, build something around the reason I picked up a camera again.

So far, I haven't received much feedback through the website. No emails have come back, and truthfully, I don't really know how many people are actually looking at it.

That's OK. The website isn't going anywhere.

I'll continue updating it with new photographs, and the full resolution downloads will remain free for personal and non-commercial use. I still want it to be a place where people can simply enjoy the photographs.

But if this project is going to reach more people, I need to go where the people are.

So I'm putting more of my attention into the Michael Ladd Photography Facebook page:

Michael Ladd Photography on Facebook

I'll be sharing new photographs there, along with the people, places, events and stories I come across with my camera.

The reason behind all of this hasn't changed. Photography helped me during a very difficult time, and I still hope this project can eventually put cameras into the hands of people who might benefit from having one.

Maybe Facebook helps me reach a few more people. Maybe one of those people needs exactly that.

The website stays. The photography continues.

I'm just opening another door.
